My name is Asheem Calixte, born and raised in St. Lucia until the age of 11. I am a public relations professional skilled in strategic communications.
I am currently a graduate student earning a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications from the School of Communication, at SUNY Oswego. My passions are to work in the public relations/communications field to build connections and help tell meaningful stories.
For a large part of my life, I thought I wanted to be a lawyer, however, taking a introduction level course in Public Relations ignited my passion for communication and storytelling. Therefore, displayed on my site are examples of my work that I am extremely proud of throughout the time of my academics and internships.
I am currently working in the field of communications/marketing/public relations as a full-time Communications and Brand Operations Coordinator for a construction firm based out of Seattle.
